Hi, this page contains selected examples of my work,
all created in digital medium.

I've recently started my instagram @kor_illust
and, from time to time, I upload painting videos to my youtube channel.

If you'd like to receive notification when I put some prints on sale, update my website, or do something very unusual (like publishing a book),

Hi, I'm Kor. I create digital illustrations.
At the moment, I'm trying to overcome a slight aversion to social media,
one post at a time ;)

"I started drawing when I was 2 years old, and got my first pen tablet when I was 21...
Even though it was a bit clunky (the pen used an AA battery!), I instantly fell in love with digital painting and wanted to become a professional. Back in 2004, there wasn't as much competition in this field. After posting just a few works online, I started receiving job offers - it sure was a good time to be a 'digital artist' with little experience...
But I wasn't ready for it. After 6 years of doing graphic designs, concept designs and too many other things, I had no cohesive portfolio or personal style. I convinced myself I should focus on traditional art. While still doing odd design jobs, I was drawing, painting and learning anatomy for a few years and made a lot of progress, yet one thing was becoming clear:  I enjoyed digital painting more than traditional.
With new skills in place, I took on what I dreamed of doing when I was a child - creating realistic portraits of imaginary yet relatable characters. All the images on this page are dedicated to my inner 8-year old ;) "
